Bruxism
Medical masseter muscle treatments temporarily ease clenching and jaw tension from bruxism, relieving pain, headaches, and enlarged jaw muscles.

Bruxism
Bruxism is the clenching or grinding of the teeth, often happening unconsciously during sleep or in moments of stress through the day. Over time it can lead to jaw pain, headaches, worn teeth and a noticeably squarer jawline as the masseter muscles, the large muscles at the side of the jaw, become overworked and enlarged.
We offer a medical treatment for the masseter muscles that works by temporarily softening their pull, easing the intensity of clenching and bringing welcome relief from the associated tension and discomfort. This is not a treatment we take lightly, and it always follows a proper consultation to understand your symptoms, rule out other causes, and make sure the treatment plan is right for you.
Where appropriate, we may also liaise with your dentist ahead of treatment, so that your dental and clinical care are properly joined up.
